Poll
How does Jon Bruning come back from losing election based on ethics and character issues?
He doesn't. He's done.
Don't know but got plenty of $$$ to keep spirit up
May be done climbing but AG as long as he wants it
Not a problem. Will declare for Governor 2014 soon

  • Jane Kleeb Debates Oil Industry Lobbyist On "Democracy Now"

    by: Kyle Michaelis

Sat Aug 20, 2011 at 00:44:17 AM CDT

Amidst protests in Washington D.C. by landowners and environmentalists asking President Barack Obama to deny TransCanada the permit they need to build the Keystone XL pipeline across the Canadian border and through Nebraska's Sandhills, Friday's episode of the nationally-syndicated Democracy Now welcomed Jane Kleeb of Bold Nebraska and Cindy Schild of the American Petroleum Institute to debate the merits of the pipeline's moving forward.

See the video below.  Note that it's not actually 51 minutes - more like 20.

So, what do you think? Jane might get a little hot under the collar, but that shows just how personally invested she is in this fight - a commitment that is very much appreciated by Nebraskans who've otherwise had no one willing to speak up on their behalf and lead in defense of our state's most precious natural resource.
